This role ensures that IT systems, platforms, and digital, AI solutions align with Prudential’s strategic goals of modernization, resilience, and customer-centric innovation across the group covering 10+ markets.\nJob Responsibilities\nStrategic Architecture Development\nDefine long-term enterprise architecture direction with emphasis on platforms, reusable components, Data and AI driven cloud-native design.\n\nBuild future-state architecture aligned with Prudential’s business strategy, focusing on convergence, modernization, cost efficiency, Data and AI, and scalability.\n\nOwn, define, and continuously evolve the enterprise target architecture for Digital, Traditional AI and Agentic AI solutions across the group.\n\nDefine and communicate target-state architecture that delivers measurable business outcomes such as improved customer experience, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.\n\nEstablish architecture roadmaps that balance short-term delivery with long-term strategic vision.\n\nTranslate business strategies into technology outcomes (e.g., faster time-to-market, reduced cost-to-serve, enhanced resilience).\n\nMonitor and report on architecture KPIs (system availability, scalability, interoperability, and cost efficiency).\n\nEnsure architecture decisions directly support Prudential’s digital transformation goals and sustainability commitments.\n\nAchieving business goals by designing, building, and maintaining high calibre solutions according to standards best technologies that meets the current and future needs\n\nAdvising on technical solutions, standard integration methodologies and the alignment of business and technology\n\nPreparing and distributing architectural vision, goals, standards, structure, behaviour patterns, models, to all affected stakeholders\n\nChecking conformance to standards and architectural decision and resolving design and architectural conflicts by explaining and justifying design and architectural decisions\n\nIdentifying technical risks and problems in the design, implementation and at run-time\n\nMonitoring conformance to design standards and decisions during the implementation\n\nProvide Support for RFPs for Digital Transformation program\n\nPolicy & Frameworks\nFormulate and enforce Group policies, frameworks, and design standards.\n\nEnsure compliance with security, resilience, and regulatory requirements in financial sector.\n\nTechnology Leadership\nActing as a thought leader on emerging digital business models and technologies, articulating the digital future and the enterprise's role in it internally and externally\n\nDrive adoption of digital platforms, APIs, microservices, and data-driven, AI solutions.\n\nChampion adoption of digital platforms, APIs, microservices, and data-driven solutions.\n\nOversee Solution Architecture function, managing a team of solution architects across multiple domains (applications, data, infrastructure, security).\n\nProvide hands-on oversight of solution designs, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles.\n\nAct as the final escalation point for solution design conflicts, balancing innovation with risk management.\n\nDrive standardization of solution patterns and reusable components across the enterprise.\n\nPartner with delivery teams to ensure solutions are implemented as designed, with clear traceability to business outcomes.\n\nMentor and develop solution architects, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.\n\nGovernance & Collaboration\nPartner with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure architectural consistency and interoperability.\n\nEnsure all solution designs comply with Prudential’s established enterprise architecture principles, frameworks, and technology standards.\n\nServe as a key member of the Architecture Review Board (ARB), reviewing proposals and providing authoritative guidance.\n\nEscalate and resolve design conflicts, ensuring decisions are transparent and traceable to business outcomes.\n\nShift governance from being purely compliance-driven to outcome-driven, ensuring architecture decisions deliver measurable results (e.g., reduced operational risk, improved customer experience, cost efficiency).\n\nDefine and monitor architecture KPIs that track adherence to governance expectations.\n\nCommunicate governance decisions clearly, translating technical standards into business-relevant language.\n\nOversee all solution designs to ensure they are consistent with enterprise architecture governance.\n\nProvide pre-approval guidance to solution architects, reducing friction during formal governance reviews.\n\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to solution architects and engineering teams.\n\nIdentify gaps in governance processes and propose enhancements to make them more agile and business-aligned.\n\nIntroduce reusable solution patterns that simplify compliance with governance expectations.\n\nRegulatory Compliance: Must stay ahead of country regulations.\n\nLegacy Modernization: Balancing innovation with integration of legacy systems.\n\nCybersecurity Threats: Ensuring resilience against evolving digital risks.\n\nJob Requirement\n15-20 years in enterprise architecture, preferably in banking, insurance, or financial services, who is currently working as Enterprise Architect, Digital Architect, Transformation Architect in last 2-5 years.\n\ncommitment of min 3 years in previous job in same role, with min 1 year project level engagement.\n\nStrong expertise in:\nHands-on Enterprise TOGAF or similar framework.\n\nProven leadership in managing architecture teams and delivering enterprise-scale outcomes.\n\nExperience in managing stakeholders.\n\nOutstanding knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes\n\nExperience in proposal writing & responding to proposals to business and management\n\nShould have managed Programs with Global rollouts nature across APAC.\n\nGood grounding in modern data architectures and machine learning concepts Experience - Min 10 years of Solution Architect experience is required. 2+ years progressive leadership experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organization and within complex contexts\n\nCloud-native composable platforms (Azure, GCP).\n\nModern Tooling experience like Key cloak, Ping Identity, Dynatrace or similar tools, mobile tools, business Analytics tools for digital platforms.\n\nEnterprise integration (APIs, microservices, Data & AI).\n\nApplication Data architecture, analytics, and AI/ML solutions.\n\nHands-on Experiences building POC, Architecture models, Solution Architecture, Governance\n\nProven ability to effectively drive people, process and technology change in a dynamic and complex operating environment perhaps through successful delivery of multiple complex, integrated projects\n\nStrong hands-on experience designing and implementing AI, data, and cloud architectures in complex enterprise environments\n\nSignificant experience architecting and governing enterprise-scale platforms, ideally involving AI- or data-intensive systems\n\nStrong architectural judgment and comfort making long-term, high-impact design trade-offs.\n\nSolid understanding of event-streaming architectures, platforms and products\n\nDemonstrated understanding of current approaches in DevSecOps\n\nSolid understanding of API design, resource modelling and lifecycle management- Modern multi-cloud solution and integration architectures.\n\nFamiliarity with agile program delivery models and agile architecture techniques\n\nMentor and guide Architects in applying enterprise and AI architecture best practices\n\nPartner with Domain Architect teams to embedCloud, Security, Risk, Data by design\n\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills.\n\nHas experience creating Enterprise Strategy and Architecture playbooks using ppt, lucid diagrams at consulting level.\n\nProven ability to work in and lead multicultural, globally distributed teams.\n\nExperience balancing innovation speed with enterprise constraints such as risk, regulation, cost, and operational stability\n\nDemonstrable integrity, empathy and emotional intelligence.\n\nAbility to set direction and then mobilise the commitment of team individuals\n\nShares new ideas and
