This role requires strong scripting skills, expertise in monitoring tools, and the ability to automate tasks across large-scale environments. For the Lead position, additional responsibilities include team leadership, stakeholder reporting, and driving strategic initiatives.\nJob Responsibilities: (Engineer & Lead):\nAutomation & Scripting:\nDevelop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.\n\nCreate reusable scripts for deployments, patching, and compliance across multiple VMs via SCCM.\n\nObservability & Monitoring:\nConfigure and manage observability platforms like Dynatrace for proactive monitoring.\n\nBuild dashboards, alerts, and performance reports to ensure system health.\n\nOperational Support:\nCollaborate with L2/L3 teams for troubleshooting and incident resolution.\n\nParticipate in root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.\n\nDocumentation & Knowledge Sharing:\nMaintain detailed documentation for scripts, workflows, and monitoring configurations.\n\nShare best practices and provide training to team members.\n\nAdditional Responsibilities for TechOps Lead:\nReporting & Analytics:\nDesign and maintain Grafana and Jira dashboards for operational metrics and automation KPIs.\n\nProvide regular reports to tech leadership and business stakeholders on system health, automation progress, and incident trends.\n\nLeadership & Facilitation:\nLead and mentor the TechOps team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.\n\nFacilitate meetings with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to review performance and improvement plans.\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives and manage priorities effectively.\n\nStrategic Planning:\nIdentify opportunities for automation and process optimization across BAU operations.\n\nCollaborate with leadership to define TechOps roadmap and deliverables.\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications:\nStrong proficiency in PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, C# scripting.\n\nUnderstanding of writing or consuming APIs\n\nHands-on experience with SCCM for automation and deployment.\n\nExpertise in observability tools like Dynatrace familiarity with Grafana dashboards.\n\nKnowledge of ITIL processes and operational best practices.\n\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\n\nPreferred for Lead Role:\nExperience in team leadership and stakeholder management.\n\nAbility to design and present dashboards/reports for executive audiences.\n\nStrong communication and facilitation skills.\n\nPrudential is an equal opportunity employer.
