The position offers broad exposure, with direct collaboration across Prysmian’s business units and functional areas including R&D, Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, Finance, Quality, Sustainability, and HSE.\nResponsibilities\nOwn the procurement strategy for key raw material commodities, managing a 20 - 30M EUR spend across 6 countries.\nLead allocation processes in partnership with Logistics to secure optimal cost advantages.\nDevelop and execute regional commodity strategies aligned with global direction from HQ and the Regional Commodity Manager.\nShape and optimize the supplier base to deliver competitive cost, quality, sustainability, and reliability.\nDrive multi-country commodity projects informed by plant needs, spend insights, and market analysis.\nLead supplier negotiations, tenders, contracts, and long-term agreements to maximize value creation.\nEvaluate supplier performance across sustainability, delivery, quality, risk exposure, and overall supply-base health.\nAlign demand and material priorities with suppliers through accurate forecasting and planning.\nMaintain high-quality purchasing master data to ensure system integrity and operational reliability.\nOversee pricing management across quotations, contracts, and planning cycles.\nOversee contract management to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely renewals.\nSupport internal and external audits across the region.\nCollaborate with local functions to ensure adherence to Prysmian governance, guidelines, and procedures.\nRequirements\nAt least 3-5 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain role, with a strong understanding of procurement processes, category management, and organizational structures.\nSolid expertise in market intelligence, purchasing strategies, cost-improvement initiatives, and procurement best practices.\nExcellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.\nSelf-driven and results-oriented, demonstrating agility in managing multiple priorities and adapting to evolving business needs.\nExperience working in a matrix organization is considered an advantage.\nStrong analytical capabilities, including data analysis and data management proficiency.\nHands-on experience with SAP is highly preferred or other ERP systems.\nUniversity degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.\nFluency in English is required.\nWe look forward to welcoming motivated individuals who are ready to contribute to our success and grow with us!\nPrysmian , as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
