In this position you will be responsible for the preparation of journal entries, account analysis, reconciliations, internal reporting and assisting with the month end close. Additionally, the position is responsible for the review, analysis the expenses process This position has no direct reports furthermore it mainly interacts with other accounting and functional area personnel.\nJob responsibilities:\nPerform queries, inquiries, and reporting functions for expenses.\nCommunicate possible issues/risks with team.\nResponsible for the entry of several journal entries prepared by other departments and locations during the month-end process.\nAssist with the month-end close process through the preparation of general ledger journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations and internal reporting and supporting schedules; this includes performing account analysis, investigating variances and issue resolution.\nMonitors, reviews, and reconciles specific general ledger accounts.\nWorks with foreign intercompany partners on balancing and billing of cross charges.\nTax fillings preparation.\nBackup of G/L accountant team.\nComply with all internal control procedures to ensure accurate financial records, particularly in relation to Corporate Delegation of Authority policy.\nPerforms other related duties as required or requested by the Controller Manager.\n\nWho are we looking for?\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in accounting.\n2 - 4 years related accounting experience.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel Advanced level).\nAssess a problem and resolve or escalate it to the Controller Manager.\nKnowledge on local tax matters.\nSelf-starter able to operate independently with minimal supervision.\nAble to be trusted with “confidential” information.\nAbility to effectively prioritize multiple demands.\nQuick learner able to maintain accuracy and organization with a strong attention for detail.\nPreferred qualifications\nIntermediate to advance English level.
