They will display the ability to work closely with others and as a team. Responsibilities listed below cover some of the significant duties performed, but do not exclude other occasional work assignments not mentioned.\nPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPulls and assembles hardware, trough, and wire products according to the customer’s order\nPackages material into boxes and onto skids\nScans all material with a scan gun to verify accuracy and completeness\nAffixes appropriate labels and packing lists\nPrepares appropriate shipping documents\nOperates a stretch wrap machine to secure boxes and reels to a skid\nOperates a forklift to load customer orders onto outgoing trucks\nAssists with cycle counts, physical inventories, and other inventory control activities\nPOSITION REQUIREMENTS :\nHigh School Diploma; warehouse/distribution experience\nEnglish: proficient in reading, writing, and verbal communication\nGood physical condition, as you will be walking and standing the majority of the day\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds\nAbove average forklift driving skills (may be taught)\nAttention to detail required in correct item and quantity\nMaterial identification is extremely critical to detect quality issues\nBasic computer skills required to operate scan gun and shipping programs on computer\nBasic math skills required to count items\nInitiative needed to drive your own performance.
