The HR Generalist will also partner with the HRBP with creating and implementing new programs and initiatives and pushes for HR best practices.\nEssential Job Responsibilities\nWorks with and advises NDW employees with their questions and concerns on various topics. \nReviews documentation from Lincoln Financial and updates employee statuses as needed. \nMaintains personnel records and assists with ensuring HR best practices concerning documentation procedures. \nProcesses status change requests within HRIS systems and sends appropriate documentation to the affected employee. \nAssists with hosting and setting up for the new hire orientation classes. Including candidate communication, ordering needed supplies, as well as preparing the needed materials in advance. \nAssists in creating ad hoc trainings for managers and may assist with hosting special training courses. \nPerforms regular personnel file audits to ensure accuracy for cost centers, reporting structures, and schedules. \nActive participation in recruitment and pre-boarding processes. \nCollaborates with HRBP and department leaders for implementation of new initiatives. \nManage employee communications, including postings, newsletter, and ad-hoc notifications as needed. \nAssists with performance management procedures are followed and appropriately escalated. \nOther duties as assigned. \nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED \n3 or more years of experience working within human resources \nUnderstanding of basic labor laws \n3 or more years of administrative experience \nIntermediate understanding of HR best practices \nStrong communication skills including written, verbal, and telephone etiquette \nStrong attention to detail \nStrong customer service skills \nStrong computer skills and the ability to assist others with use of a computer \nHRIS experience \nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in human resources or related major \n5 or more years of experience in human resources \nSHRM or PHR certification \nADP, and/or Workday experience \nPayroll processing experience \n-----------------------------------------\nJob Offer Fraud Alert\nWe take the security of our candidates seriously.
