Make Your Mark at Prysmian!\nOverview\nThe Maintenance Manager is a staff-level position reporting to the Plant Manager and is responsible for leading all maintenance, facilities, and reliability functions within the facility. This position is accountable for maximizing equipment uptime, asset reliability, and manufacturing performance through the effective planning and execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs. The Maintenance Manager directs maintenance personnel, manages maintenance systems and budgets, oversees capital and facility improvement projects, and partners closely with Production, Engineering, EHS, and Finance to support plant safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. This role drives continuous improvement initiatives, develops team capabilities, and ensures compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.\nPrinciple Functional Responsibilities:\nDirect the activities of the maintenance department to ensure that all plant equipment is maintained and repaired with minimal downtime\nManage the predictive/preventative maintenance program to ensure uptime and improve reliability of equipment\nManage and maintain all infrastructure systems for the facility\nIdentify potential risks of infrastructure and equipment and work with the plant leadership team to obtain funding for new equipment\nSupervise installation of new machines, check, and inspect them before putting into use, including updating all documentation (lock-out/tag-out procedures, PM plans, etc.)\nEnsure CMMS program is maintained and utilized to track workforce hours and costs\nCoordinate priority maintenance scheduling with production requirements in conjunction with production department managers and production scheduling department\nEnforce all safety procedures and environmental policies, partnering with EHS Manager to ensure all necessary training is up to date\nEstablish contact with vendors as needed and take bids, approve bids, and supervise and inspect work to assure proper quality\nBudget and control department costs in partnership with the Plant Controller to maintain necessary critical spares and facility upkeep\nPerform special projects as required, partnering with the Plant Manager and Process Engineering Manager\nSupervision Scope:\nResponsible for the direction of all Maintenance Department associates. Position currently has one salaried Maintenance Supervisor, one Controls Engineer and nineteen hourly maintenance technicians\nKey Requirements:\nA results driven individual who has demonstrated ability working in a high-performance manufacturing environment\nProven experience in Maintenance/Facilities Engineering in manufacturing arena\nMust have good attention to details and able to manage the big picture\nMust drive responsiveness to production problems through the Maintenance Department to allow the plant to hit production volumes\nMust be able to manage multiple complex tasks and deal easily with pressure on a day-in and day-out basis\nMust be able to motivate, communicate, and drive continuous improvement\nCritical thinker, with excellent analytical abilities\nGood written and oral communication skills\nSolid planning, leadership, and administrative skills\nHigh energy, demonstrates urgency and fast pace\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree or minimum of 10 years of experience\nFacilities engineering experience required\nProject management experience preferred\nCompensation\nThe typical base salary range for this role is $121,000.00 to $181,000.00.
