Wherever you’re based and whatever you do, you’ll have the opportunity to make an impact as part of a global team committed to excellence and transforming the world around us.\nJOB SUMMARY:\nThe Quality Auditor assists the Quality Engineers in maintaining the effectiveness of the Channell Quality Management System and supports continued certification of ISO 9001:2015.\nUses documentation tools to identify non-conformance and uses problem-solving skills and corrective action skills.\nExecutes process control methods on a wide assortment of manufacturing and assembly processes.\nMaintains good housekeeping in any area assigned and ensures that all company policies and safety rules are followed on any shift positioned.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nConduct Quality Inspections of manufacturing/assembling.\nConduct receiving inspections of incoming goods.\nDevelop training to build quality awareness throughout manufacturing. • Provide leadership in compliance areas of internal auditing and ISO 9001:2015 documentation.\nExecute continuous improvement of QA receiving/inspection and QA floor auditing.\nMonitor and communicate supplier quality performance metrics.\nAssist supplier audits and issue recommendations/requests for corrective action.\nAssist Manufacturing Engineering in analyzing product non-conformance, customer, and internal complaints.\nAddress non-conformance complaints by identifying a root cause with root cause correction.\nComplete other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.\nKNOWLEDGE OF:\nGood mechanical skills, use of hand/power tools\nGood understanding of quality and safety practices\nABILITY TO/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:\nMust understand and follow all departmental safety rules.\nProperly use of all safety equipment: safety glasses, safety belt, harness, and hard hat.\nUnderstand Safety Data Sheets (SDS)\nISO sections about the position\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nAssociate Degree preferred\nExperience in product development and manufacturing release a plus\nExperience in assembly operations a plus\nExperience with Engineering Documentation released to Manufacturing a plus\nWorking knowledge of statistical techniques and tools a plus\nDemonstrated auditing and problem-solving skills as a plus\nDemonstrated verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to train and mentor\nWorking knowledge in spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software\nGeneral understanding of business and financial metrics\nCapacity to work overtime as needed\nMust be able to speak, read/comprehend and write in English\nGood vision (this can be accomplished with corrective lenses), central and peripheral vision in both eyes to detect objects or movement in the field of view\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: The physical demands and working conditions requirements indicated below are examples of the demands that must be performed in carrying out the essential job functions.\nPhysical Demands: Sitting, standing, walking use of central and peripheral vision, and hearing (up to continuously); speaking/verbal communication, bend/stoop, twist neck and torso (frequently); frequent use of computer and telephone requiring finger, hand, and arm movement; occasionally carry office supplies and other miscellaneous items up to 50 pounds.\nWorking Conditions: Working in an office setting indoors; frequent exposure to temperatures commensurate with outdoor seasonal temperatures.\n-----------------------------------------\nJob Offer Fraud Alert\nWe take the security of our candidates seriously.
