Expedites and receives maintenance parts and materials.\nMaintains stores inventory.\nRe-organizes items in stores and maintains computer records so items can be located by authorized personnel.\nSets up and maintains cycle count system of inventory.\nEnters daily stores issues, resolves questions, and adjusts inventory as appropriate.\nMaintains inventory computer files including adding new items and deleting items no longer needed.\nCompiles information and prepares reports on maintenance cost, activities, and stores inventory.\nSets up and maintains an inventory file on all motors throughout the plant.\nIdentifies and accesses drawings and blueprints and sends them to vendors for quotations and fabrication details.\nAssists receiving clerk when receiving parts and supplies to ensure items are undamaged and quantities are correct.\nTransfers received items from dock to storeroom and properly places them in inventory.\nMaintains cleanliness of storeroom and associated area.\nServes as the primary interface between the maintenance department and spare parts inventory.\nContacts vendors to obtain cost quotes and process part orders through the company-approved purchasing system.\nQualifications:\nAbility to maintain records and files using software such as Word, Excel, Access, and SAP.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a valid forklift license.\nEducation and/or Experience:\nExperience in inventory management.\nWorking knowledge of maintenance fundamentals and terminology.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nPhysical Demands:\nWhile performing duties, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with arms, communicate, and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.\nWork Environment:\nThe work environment is usually hot, and noise levels often require hearing protection.\n-----------------------------------------\nJob Offer Fraud Alert\nWe take the security of our candidates seriously.
