Let’s take a closer look at the role\n Days and Shift Information\nMonday through Friday, standard business hours.\nOccasional flexibility may be required to support special onboarding sessions, employee events, or other HR activities.\nKey Responsibilities\nEmployee Support and HR Administration- Promote TA Services’ values by providing responsive, professional HR support to team members while maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive employee information appropriately.\nOnboarding and Orientation- Coordinate new-hire onboarding, including HRIS entry, I-9 employment eligibility verification, completion of required paperwork, orientation scheduling, and related logistics to ensure a positive employee experience.\nBenefits Administration- Assist team members with understanding and navigating their benefits, support annual open enrollment, communicate important deadlines, and track enrollment completion.\nEmployee Engagement and Relations- Plan and coordinate team-building activities and employee events, maintain accurate HR files and records, and assist with employee relations matters as needed.\nHR Projects and Leadership Support- Partner with HR and business leadership on special projects, training initiatives, HR process improvements, and the tracking and reporting of HR metrics.\nWork Environment\nThis position is based in Greenwood, Indiana, and supports multiple warehouse locations in close proximity to one another. The role combines office-based administrative responsibilities with regular collaboration with warehouse teams and leaders. Occasional participation in employee events, off-site activities, and special onboarding sessions may be required.\n Education\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nExperience\nMinimum of two years of experience in a human resources role.\nPrevious HR experience in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment preferred.\nExperience supporting multiple managers, departments, or work locations preferred.\nFamiliarity with HRIS platforms and other HR-related software.\nProficiency with computer-based administrative tasks, employee recordkeeping, data entry, and tracking HR information.\nAbility to maintain accurate documentation, manage competing priorities, and handle confidential employee information.\nExperience with onboarding, benefits administration, employee engagement, and general HR processes preferred.\nPersonality Traits\nTakes initiative and proactively identifies tasks and opportunities to improve HR processes.\nFollows through on commitments and completes work with minimal supervision.\nMaintains accurate records, meets deadlines, and manages multiple priorities effectively.\nBuilds positive working relationships with team members, warehouse leaders, and HR colleagues.\nDemonstrates professionalism, sound judgment, and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.\nGenuinely cares about employee well-being and creating a positive, welcoming team member experience.\n Pay/Benefits/Perks\n$21-24/hr\nAccrue up to five days PTO in first year.
