Let’s take a closer look at the role\n Days and Shift Information\nFull-time position, typically Monday-Friday during standard business hours (8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.).\nOccasional overtime or after-hours availability may be required to support shipments outside normal operating times.\nKey Responsibilities\nCoordinate Shipments: Oversee the full lifecycle of shipments from pickup to delivery, ensuring on-time performance and customer satisfaction.\nCarrier Management: Book and manage carrier relationships, securing competitive rates and reliable service while maintaining compliance documentation.\nCommunication: Serve as the main point of contact between customers, carriers, and drivers to provide updates, resolve issues, and confirm delivery details.\nDocumentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate shipment records (PODs, BOLs, rate confirmations) and generate performance reports to track load status and margins.\nProblem Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve challenges such as delays, equipment issues, and schedule changes to ensure smooth operations.\nWork Environment\nProfessional office environment that is well-lit and climate-controlled.\nWork performed primarily using a computer and phone; requires extended periods of sitting and multitasking.\nCollaborative team setting with regular interaction with account managers, carriers, and customers.\nBachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain, or customer service will be considered.\nExperience\n1-2 years of experience in logistics coordination, transportation, or customer service preferred.\nProficiency with logistics software such as McLeod, Mercury Gate, DAT, Truckstop, and E2open.\nStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Outlook) and Power BI for reporting.\nFamiliarity with carrier networks and freight operations a plus.\nPersonality Traits\nExcellent communicator with strong verbal and written skills.\nHighly organized and detail-oriented.\nQuick-thinking problem solver with a solution-focused mindset.\nAble to multitask effectively and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.\nTeam-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and professionalism\nPay/Benefits/Perks\n$26.45/hr\nAccrue up to five days PTO in first year.
