Let’s take a closer look at the role\n Days and Shift Information\nMonday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.\nFull-time schedule, with flexibility to support customer needs as required.\nOccasional travel for customer visits or strategic meetings.\nKey Responsibilities\nCustomer Account Management and Growth - Manage assigned customer accounts by building strong relationships, understanding customer transportation needs, and maintaining customer satisfaction and retention.\nDaily Transportation Coordination and Customer Service - Manage daily customer transportation requirements, including order intake, load coordination, scheduling, shipment visibility, and customer communication.\nCarrier Sales Collaboration and Pricing - Partner with Carrier Sales to communicate load requirements, secure capacity, coordinate competitive pricing, and resolve transportation challenges.\nOperational Performance and Continuous Improvement - Monitor on-time pickup and delivery, customer service metrics, and shipment exceptions.\nCross-Functional Collaboration and Account Profitability - Collaborate with Carrier Sales, Operations, and other TA Services business units to develop solutions that meet customer needs.\nWork Environment\nFast-paced, team-oriented office setting.\nFrequent communication with customers, carriers through internal coordination, and cross-functional teams.\nRequires the ability to manage multiple customer requests, shipments, deadlines, and competing priorities throughout the day.\n Education\nBachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.\nRelevant transportation, logistics, business, or related education is beneficial.\nExperience\nTransportation, logistics, or third-party logistics (3PL) experience preferred.\nExperience in account management, customer service, sales, or a related customer-facing role preferred.\nUnderstanding of freight operations, transportation pricing, carrier capacity, and shipment coordination.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.\nExperience using a Transportation Management System (TMS) preferred.\nAbility to coordinate multiple shipments and customer requirements while maintaining accuracy and service quality.\nBilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and business partners in both languages.\nPersonality Traits\nSelf-motivated and accountable: Demonstrates ownership of customer relationships, responsibilities, and results.\nCustomer-focused: Builds strong relationships and prioritizes customer satisfaction and retention.\nOrganized and detail-oriented: Effectively manages multiple shipments, customer requests, and competing priorities.\nProactive problem-solver: Anticipates challenges, takes initiative, and follows through on resolutions.\nCompetitive and results-driven: Maintains a strong focus on performance, continuous improvement, and business growth.\nCollaborative communicator: Works effectively with customers and internal teams to achieve shared objectives.\n Pay/Benefits/Perks\n$24/hr\nAccrue up to five days PTO in first year.
