Let’s take a closer look at the role.\n The Traffic and Logistics Admin serves as a critical operational hub for our distribution and logistics operations. This position coordinates the seamless movement of loads across multiple facilities by managing driver dispatch, scheduling, facility check-ins, load tracking, documentation, and communication with internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment.\nDays and Shift Information\n2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM\nMonday-Friday, with additional hours or weekends as business needs require.\n$17.75/hour + $3.00/hour 2ND SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL\nKey Responsibilities\nTraffic & Driver Coordination: Coordinate driver dispatch, appointments, facility check-in/check-out, door assignments, and daily truck activity to support efficient traffic flow and minimize detention charges.\nLoad Scheduling & Tracking: Monitor loads, track on-time pickups, schedule loads through the Uber portal, and communicate load status with internal teams and external transportation partners.\nDocumentation & Records: Maintain accurate driver logs, inbound/outbound paperwork, PODs, OS&D documentation, and historical records while ensuring information is properly scanned and filed.\nYard, Trailer & Dock Management: Monitor Warehouse and Pegasus trailer/yard status, manage gate activity, assist with Surgere portal setup, and perform dock audits to ensure accurate lane assignments.\nOperational Support & Communication: Respond to tracking and shipping inquiries, coordinate with warehouse and quality teams, assist with supply and PO needs, and support daily logistics operations across the facility.\nWork Environment\nFast-paced warehouse and logistics environment with frequent interaction with drivers, carriers, warehouse personnel, and internal teams.\nCombination of office/administrative work and activity in warehouse, dock, gate, and yard areas.\nRequires strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment.\n Education\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.\nExperience\nPrevious experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, dispatch, traffic coordination, or an administrative role preferred.\nAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.\nAdvanced proficiency with Windows-based applications.\nAbility to learn and effectively use transportation, scheduling, yard management, and logistics systems.\nFamiliarity with driver check-in/check-out processes, load tracking, or transportation documentation preferred.\nEnglish language proficiency at a B2+ level required.\nPersonality Traits\nHighly organized and detail-oriented.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.\nDependable, responsive, and proactive.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills.\nCustomer-service focused with a professional demeanor.\nAbility to work independently while also collaborating effectively with warehouse and transportation teams.\n Pay/Benefits/Perks\n $17.75 per hour + $3.00/hour 2ND SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL\nAccrue up to five days PTO in first year.
