Let’s take a closer look at the role\n The Site Manager is responsible for the overall administration of the safety guidelines for the job site and managing the team. This individual is to be a safety leader as well as oversees the overall operation. Work closely and with the customer to ensure their safety standards are met.\nDays and Shift Information\nFull-time, Monday through Friday.\nStandard business hours, with flexibility to support operational needs, project implementations, and site requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperations Leadership and Team Development- Perform all duties and responsibilities of a Safety Representative.\nSafety, Regulatory Compliance, and Risk Management- Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with applicable safety policies, company procedures, and local and regional regulations.\nTraining, Communication, and Safety Documentation- Develop and deliver appropriate safety training and educational programs for employees.\n Warehouse Safety and Continuous Improvement- Identify warehouse deficiencies, develop corrective action plans, and oversee implementation to address identified issues.\nFinancial and Business Performance- Oversee the operation’s profit and loss (P&L) performance and manage activities in accordance with the approved budget.\nWork Environment\nPrimarily operates in a warehouse or distribution center environment.\nRegularly exposed to warehouse operations, equipment, and potential workplace safety hazards.\nRequires frequent interaction with employees, operations leadership, customers, and other stakeholders.\nRequires the ability to inspect work areas, evaluate working conditions, identify safety deficiencies, and oversee corrective actions.\nMay require walking or standing for extended periods and accessing various areas of the warehouse to conduct safety inspections.\n Education\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Management, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.\nExperience\nThree to five years of combined experience in safety management, operations management, or similar roles, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.\nExperience with warehouse operations, logistics processes, and applicable safety regulations.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.\nFamiliarity with warehouse management systems and logistics software.\nKnowledge of workplace safety programs, hazard identification, risk assessment, incident prevention, and regulatory compliance.\nSafety certifications such as CSP, ASP, OSHT, or CIH preferred. (CSP was listed twice in the original requirements and is included once here.)\nOSHA 30-hour certification, CPR, and First Aid training preferred.\nExperience with operational budgeting and P&L management preferred.\nPersonality Traits\n Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and hold employees accountable for performance.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate safety requirements and operational expectations effectively.\nCommitment to building positive customer relationships and delivering reliable, timely service.\nAbility to assess risks, investigate deficiencies, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.\nCommitment to accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and consistent application of safety policies and procedures.\nProactive approach to identifying opportunities to improve safety, operational efficiency, and business performance.\n Ability to manage competing priorities, support 24/7 operations, and balance safety, service, and financial objectives.\n Benefits/Perks\nAccrue up to five days PTO in first year.
