Let’s take a closer look at the role.\n Key Responsibilities\nLead and coordinate onboarding and training programs for new and current warehouse employees.\nProvide hands-on instruction and coaching to employees with varying levels of experience, learning styles, and communication preferences.\nAdapt training methods as needed to promote understanding, competency, and retention.\nProvide hands-on training for shipping, receiving, inventory handling, repack operations, and other warehouse processes.\nEnsure employees understand and follow established operational procedures and standards.\nSupport cross-training initiatives to increase employee versatility and operational effectiveness.\nProvide hands-on training for sit-down and stand-up forklifts and other Powered Industrial Vehicles.\nEvaluate operator competency and reinforce safe operating practices.\nEnsure employees understand and follow applicable equipment, safety, and warehouse procedures.\nMonitor and evaluate employee performance throughout training periods and provide feedback and additional coaching as needed.\nMaintain accurate training records and documentation.\nPartner with supervisors and team leads to identify training needs and develop improvement plans.\nBuild positive working relationships and collaborate effectively with employees across departments and shifts.\nSupport continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and assisting with implementation.\nLead by example and promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.\nWork Environment\nWarehouse environment requiring regular physical activity, including walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 33 lbs.\nRegular interaction with warehouse employees, supervisors, and team leads across multiple departments and shifts.\nFrequent hands-on operation and training involving Powered Industrial Vehicles, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts.\nRequires flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or other shifts based on business needs.\n Education\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.\nExperience\n2+ years of warehouse experience required.\nLead, supervisory, or employee training experience preferred.\n2+ years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up Powered Industrial Vehicles preferred.\nStrong understanding of warehouse operations, safety practices, and equipment.\nDemonstrated ability to train, coach, and evaluate employees with varying levels of experience and learning styles.\nProficient with basic computer applications and warehouse systems, including Outlook, Excel, and JotForm.\nKnowledge of warehouse processes including shipping, receiving, inventory handling, and repack operations.\nPersonality Traits\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nStrong safety mindset and commitment to enforcing safe work practices.\nDependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.\nCollaborative and able to build positive working relationships across departments and shifts.\nPatient, adaptable, and effective at coaching and developing employees.\nLeads by example and demonstrates accountability, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous improvement.\n Benefits/Perks\n$24/hr\nAccrue up to five days PTO in first year.
