This position is Ideal for someone who is very interested in exploring technology, market activity, and sharing internally to investigate how opportunities can be leveraged in favor or existing technology and product assets of the company.\nWorkplace Policy\nHybrid from Dallas, TX or San Jose, CA.\nWhat To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)\nMarket and Technology Intelligence\nAnalyze AI data center server and network architectures.\nTrack developments in various interconnect technologies such as Ethernet, InfiniBand, PCIe, CXL, SerDes, retimers, cables, connectors, and optical engines - including Pluggables, CPO, NPO etc. \nEvaluate key challenges including signal integrity, optical loss, bandwidth density, energy efficiency, EMI, thermal performance, and reliability.\nTrack relevant industry standards, ecosystem activities, and competitive developments.\nMarket Opportunity and Product Strategy\nIdentify opportunities for Murata technologies in Server packages, boards and intra and inter rack interconnects.\nTranslate customer and market trends into product requirements and development priorities.\nDevelop technical value propositions, competitive analysis, market sizing, and business recommendations.\nCollaborate with engineering and product teams to support product marketing as as well as further product roadmaps.\nMiscellaneous Job Responsibilities\nCustomer and Technical Marketing\nConduct technical discussions with hyperscalers, semiconductor companies, server and network equipment manufacturers, and optical ecosystem partners.\nUnderstand customer roadmaps, design challenges, qualification requirements, and development schedules.\nPresent technology trends, customer requirements, and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders.\nDevelop technical presentations, market reports, customer proposals, and sales-enablement materials.\nInfluence internal team and customers through customer workshops, conferences and other possible venues.\nWhat Is Required (Qualifications)\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Photonics, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field. \n3+ years of experience in technology development, technical marketing, systems engineering, application engineering, or business development.\nHow To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)\nExperience in data center networking, optical communications, high-speed interconnects, network semiconductors, servers, or AI infrastructure.\nExperience working with customers, engineering teams, and product organizations.\nMaster’s or PhD in an engineering related field. \nOther\nFrequent domestic travel and occasional international travel.\nCalifornia Salary depending on location.\nMinimum Salary: $81,578\nMaximum Salary: $135,215\nPerks\nComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance. \nGenerous Paid Time Off including paid holidays and floating holidays. \n401(k) employer match on retirement planning. \nHybrid working schedule for eligible positions.\nTuition reimbursement on approved programs. \nFlexible and health spending accounts. \nTalent Development program. \nImagine the possibilities as a member of Murata's innovative global team.\nBe an innovator -
