The breadth of expertise allows us to solve challenging problems with creative and disruptive solutions at tier-one customers.\nWhy Consider This Job Opportunity\nThe RF Systems Engineer works with wireless (e.g. cellular/Wi-Fi) platforms solving complex problems with solutions involving power electronics, algorithms, and a clear understanding of system-level requirements. They work with tier-one platform customers to integrate DET technology and contribute to Eta Wireless internal technology development. The RF Systems Engineer has relevant experience, mentors other engineers, manages one or more projects, and can clearly explain both problem and solution to engineers internally and in customer engagements.\nWorkplace Policy\nPrimarily on-site from Waltham, MA, with flexibility for remote work as possible.\nWhat To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)\nStudy and understand communications systems, components, and requirements.\nWork with lab equipment, prototype hardware, and Matlab scripting.\nCollaborate with multi-disciplinary multi-national team of engineers.\nPresent results to technical internal and customer audiences.\nManage one or more technical projects.\nWhat Is Required (Qualifications)\nMSEE or PhD in RF engineering and 5+ years of experience.\nExperience with RF lab equipment, measurement, troubleshooting, standards, and theory.\nFirm understanding of Wi-Fi and 5G standards and typical transmit-side RF testing.\nProficiency with Matlab or a similar programming language.\nStrong technical customer engagement and communication skills.\nHow To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)\nTechnical understanding of the following:\nMobile and base-station cellular platforms.\nRFIC and RF front-end design and tradeoffs.\nRF power amplifier (PA) theory and practical design.\nEnvelope tracking (ET) systems, digital pre-distortion (DPD) algorithms.\nTechnical leadership experience in dynamic, multidisciplinary environments.\nOther\nMinimum Salary: $97,894\nMaximum Salary: $131,055\nWe consider various factors in determining actual pay including your skills, qualifications, and experience.
