The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end FTTH planning and design activities, including route planning, network design, fiber allocation, capacity planning, engineering documentation, and design quality assurance. Candidates should possess hands-on experience with IQGeo and/or Aramis and a strong understanding of FTTH and OSP network architectures.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform FTTH network planning and design activities using IQGeo and Aramis.\nDevelop and maintain High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs).\nConduct route planning, feasibility studies, and fiber path analysis.\nPerform fiber allocation, capacity planning, and network expansion activities.\nDesign aerial, underground, and buried FTTH infrastructure.\nPrepare, review, and validate engineering deliverables and construction-ready designs.\nPrepare and maintain BOQ/BOM and engineering documentation.\nAnalyze survey data, client requirements, and network information to develop optimized designs.\nEnsure compliance with client specifications, engineering standards, and quality requirements.\nSupport Design QC activities and participate in design reviews.\nCoordinate with planning, design, QA/QC, permitting, and project teams to ensure timely delivery.\nIdentify and resolve planning and design-related issues throughout the project lifecycle.\nContribute to network optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.\nSkills & Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.\n2-10 years of experience in FTTH Planning, FTTH Design, OSP Engineering, or Fiber Network Engineering.\nHands-on experience with IQGeo for network planning, route planning, GIS analysis, and asset management.\nHands-on experience with Aramis for FTTH/OSP design and engineering deliverables.\nStrong understanding of FTTH architecture, OSP engineering principles, and fiber network deployment methodologies.\nExperience in creating and reviewing HLDs, LLDs, splice diagrams, and construction-ready designs.\nKnowledge of fiber allocation, capacity planning, and route optimization concepts.\nExperience preparing BOQ/BOM and engineering documentation.\nStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative project environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting Tier-1 telecom operators and large-scale FTTH deployment projects.\nKnowledge of Design QC processes and engineering quality standards.\nFamiliarity with permitting, utility coordination, and telecom deployment
