This is a direct hire role with a full benefits package\nPerform process optimization studies, plant trials, and technical evaluations of existing chemical manufacturing processes.\nDevelop process design recommendations and engineering scope for process improvements and capital projects.\nPerform engineering assignments supporting larger capital, process improvement, and operational initiatives.\nEvaluate technical problems, select appropriate engineering methods, and develop practical design recommendations.\nParticipate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and other Process Safety activities associated with process changes and plant operations.\nPrepare engineering calculations, technical documentation, design information, and other project deliverables.\nParticipate in defining engineering approaches and planning and scheduling engineering work.\nProvide technical leadership and guidance to engineers and technicians as appropriate.\nSupport successful completion of assigned project activities within established schedule and cost requirements.\nApply an understanding of maintenance practices to troubleshoot equipment problems and improve equipment performance and reliability.\nWork closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and other plant functions to troubleshoot operational and process performance issues.\nInitiate process improvement ideas and build organizational support to develop viable opportunities into projects.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives aligned with plant and business objectives.\nMaintain compliance with applicable SHE policies, procedures, Process Safety requirements, and plant safety standards.\nWhy is This a Great Opportunity\nThe Process Engineer provides technical support to manufacturing operations with a focus on achieving plant objectives related to safety, quality, production, and cost. This position is responsible for process optimization, troubleshooting, process design recommendations, plant trials, and developing process improvements and capital projects. The Process Engineer also supports Process Safety requirements through Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) activities and may provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and technicians.
