We take an innovative approach to the delivery of our services and ensure that they are of the highest standards in the industry.\nAbout the Role\nDue to our continued growth we are now looking to add to our Data Team based in Canterbury. The Data Analyst will play a key role within our business intelligence function, supporting our organisation through detailed data analysis, reporting, and the development of data-driven insights to support decision making and investment by our Senior Executives.\nPrincipal duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nUndertake detailed analysis of operational and clinical system data using Power BI/ Power Query\nTriage and monitor the data service desk, responding to ad hoc requests and BAU reporting\nSupport gathering data requirements for the implementation of new systems and clients, including validating outputs\nAssist with developing and maintaining technical documentation relating to data definitions and the organisation’s data dictionary.\nIdentify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements that enhance information flow\nImprove key stakeholders’ understanding of business performance through detailed data analysis\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date datasets relating to clinical activity\nProvide data to support internal audits\nProduce reports for internal meetings\nMonitor performance against KPIs for staff and activity contracts\nDevelop and maintain visual dashboards for managers\nPerson Specification\nA degree in mathematics, science or a business-related subject.\nMust have experience in data analysis\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills\nExperience using data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Salesforce Analytics\nKnowledge of SQL\nStrong organisational skills and a methodical approach to work, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively\nAbility to work quickly and accurately under pressure while meeting critical deadlines\nA positive attitude, including during high-pressure periods within the BI department\nWorking at Psicon\nWe value our employees as an integral part of our service delivery and believe in recruiting and investing in the best employees.
