Our team combines cutting-edge technology with a deep commitment to safety and innovation to solve the real operational and design challenges facing our communities' transportation systems.\nWho You Are:\nPSI is seeking to hire a Traffic Analysis/Modeling Project Manager with knowledge and experience in traffic analysis and modeling. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience performing traffic engineering related tasks, and a Civil Engineering degree.\nResponsibilities:\nPerform and manage production of traffic engineering studies, analysis, and modeling including projects like traffic simulation, traffic demand modeling, and traffic impact studies\nLead and mentor a team of engineers and designers, providing technical guidance, professional development, and performance management.\nReview and provide technical guidance on analysis and modeling submissions prepared by junior engineers and external consultants.\nHelp perform quality control review for the work performed by junior engineers and peer senior engineers.\nLearn and use readily available resources, standards, and reference materials to provide the best quality design deliverables.\nQualifications:\nBachelors in Civil Engineering.\n8+ years of traffic analysis and modeling experience.\nStrong communication skills\nAbility and desire to operate professionally in a team environment\nStrong Experience in traffic simulation software such as VISSIM and/or Synchro\nPreferred Qualifications:\nP.E. in D.C., MD, or VA\nProven track record of successfully delivering complex transportation analysis projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.\nStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.\nStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.\nExperience with DDOT, VDOT, MDOT, and/or Virginia/Maryland projects.\nM.S.
