We offer the following:\nFREE Healthcare\nHSA option\nDental\nVision\nLife Insurance\nDependent & Spouse Life Insurance\nLong Term Disability\nCritical Illness & Accident Coverage\n401K plan with company match\nReferral Bonus\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nAnnual college scholarship available for children & grandchildren of PTC employees\nTuition Reimbursement eligibility\nFunction:\nThe primary focus of the Accounting Analyst I involves the compilation, consolidation and analysis of accounting and finance information and the application of accounting techniques and standard practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nPerforms various clerical and routine accounting tasks\nPosting entries, reviewing for sensibility, verifying and reconciling input to financial reporting systems\nResponding to inquiries and contacting other departments or vendors to resolve a variety of problems\nMaintains fixed asset system\nTracks and accounts for capital expenditures\nAnalyzes and tracks utility usage\nAnalyzes and tracks leases and rentals\nReview expense reimbursement requests for accuracy and policy compliance\nReview plant purchase order requests and work with Purchasing department to correct abnormalities\nWorks closely with accounting team during month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely results\nPerform ad-hoc reporting/analysis and special projects as requested\nThe incumbent is expected to understand that all employees have a shared responsibility for the quality of products and related services provided to our customers. Duties and responsibilities are to be carried out in accordance with the PTC Quality Management System and its policies, procedures, and work instructions as applicable to the job or function being performed.\nNumber of Employees Reporting Directly or Indirectly:\nNone\nPositions Reporting Directly:\nNone\nQualifications\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting\n1-3 years relevant Accounting experience\nQualification Requirements:\nAbility to work independently or with a team and manage deliverables\nAbility to communicate clearly and concisely with other functional areas/levels within the organization\nUnderstanding of general accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis and internal controls\nAbility to make assumptions, identify trends and draw conclusions from ambiguous data\nStrong problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills\nAbility to manage multiple assignments, use sound judgement and prioritize projects and time effectively with minimal supervision\nMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment and embrace change\nStrong skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint;
