Manages the full lifecycle of steel tube orders-from providing technical pricing and lead times to monitoring production status and resolving complex logistical claims. Fast-paced industrial office, where precision in quoting and a proactive approach to sales support are essential to maintaining our competitive edge in the market.\nThis is not your typical Customer Service role. Critical thinking, math skills, organizational skills, computer skills, and attention to detail are a must.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nProvide accurate and timely pricing and basic product support to customers.\nEnter and check sales orders for accuracy.\nEnter and maintain quote records; log wins/losses and capture competitive feedback.\nAssist outside sales with standard quoting activities and documentation needs.\nDeliver routine updates to the sales team regarding orders, inquiries, and follow-up actions.\nMake follow-up calls to obtain information, provide updates, and support sales processes.\nAssist with assembling information for proposals and RFQs.\nSupport claim/invoicing issue resolution by gathering documentation and coordinating information.\nParticipate in training to build products, system, and industry knowledge.\nRun reports as assigned.\nAttend and support internal meetings as needed.\nQualifications\nMinimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required, post-secondary preferred.\nA minimum of 1-3 years of experience in sales or customer service required.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written.\nAbility to work with all levels of employees, customers, clients, etc.\nMust be detail-oriented and possess the ability to multi-task.\nAbility to creatively and proactively problem-solve.\nProfessional and dependable.\nMust be adaptable and able to understand varying customer needs\nStrong proficiency using Microsoft Excel preferred.\nFamiliarity with SAP or Oracle a plus but not required.\nThe incumbent is expected to understand that all employees have a shared responsibility for the quality of products and related services provided to our customers.
