Jetstream is a NestJS + Angular monorepo deployed into Azure Kubernetes via Helm, shipped through GitLab CI/CD, and running on the wider PTC Atlas platform. We're the squad that makes shipping fast, safe, and boring so product squads can focus on features.\nWhat you will do:\nWork on services from development through to deployment and running them in production.\nBuild and maintain backend services, mainly using TypeScript, Node.js and NestJS.\nHelp improve our GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including build, test, security and deployment.\nWork with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm to deploy and troubleshoot our services.\nImprove developer tooling and workflows, particularly where we can remove manual work or make things simpler.\nHelp improve observability, monitoring and debugging across our services.\nWork alongside DevOps on infrastructure and automation where needed, including things like Terraform and Azure.\nGenerally be comfortable working across backend development, CI/CD and the platform rather than focusing only on application code.\nExperience:\nStrong backend development experience, ideally TypeScript/Node.js/NestJS.\nGood CI/CD experience, ideally GitLab CI.\nGood experience with Docker and some practical Kubernetes experience.\nExperience deploying and troubleshooting services, not just developing them locally.\nA good understanding of testing, debugging, logging and monitoring.\nComfortable working across application and infrastructure/deployment areas.\nHelm, Terraform and Azure/AKS experience would be useful, but I wouldn't make all of these hard requirements.\nExperience with PostgreSQL, APIs and asynchronous/messaging systems would also be useful given the services we work with.\nNice to have:\nExperience creating agentic development workflows or writing and maintaining AI skills.\nnpm workspaces / shared-package build systems.\nExperience supporting SaaS platforms with strict data-privacy requirements (enterprise/multinational customers).\nHow we work:\nWe favor paved paths and sensible defaults over teams maintaining highly custom setups.\nSimplicitiy - the art of maximising the amount of work not done - is essential.\nDevelopers work end-to-end to solve customer problems, and our tooling encourages end-to-end workflows over platform components.\nLife at PTC is about more than working with today’s most cutting-edge technologies to transform the physical world.
