This role requires adherence to safety and quality systems while performing physically demanding tasks in a manufacturing environment.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nAssist mill operator in changeover of mill.\nConstantly monitors quality of tube for surface condition, measures for I.D. flash, O.D. size, gauge, length, end condition and checks for tube straightness\nMakes adjustments to or replaces cutoff tooling as needed\nLubricates cutoff, greases bearings, oils gear boxes as time permits\nAssist in eddy current setup and maintains painting unit\nHelps mill loader when possible\nKeeps heat numbers separate\nDocuments weld mill final inspection sheet as needed\nAids in training of new employees\nCleans all areas of the plant when not directed to do anything else\nPerforms miscellaneous duties as directed.\nThe incumbent is expected to understand that all employees have a shared responsibility for the quality of products and related services provided to our customers.
