Employees at this level are helping to advance and modernize PTC's cloud competencies. A well-rounded technical/functional skill set, and deep knowledge of public and private cloud capabilities are ideal for this position.\n\nResponsibilities :\n\n- Leverage experience to make recommendations on how to implement products in the cloud (private and public).\n\n- Build Deployment Automation to realize the chosen architecture.\n\n- Continuously improve the teams cloud capabilities in the areas of deployment automation, monitoring, log management, etc.\n\n- Develop training and handoff material for supporting cloud functions (NOC, Incident Management, Sales, etc.).\n\n- Work with R&D to develop standards for cloud readiness and product handoff procedures.\n\n- Collaborate with portfolio team to bring new capabilities to the cloud offerings.\n\nSkills and Knowledge :\n\n- Ability to understand and build high level cloud architectures.\n\n- Willingness to learn and experiment with cutting edge cloud technologies.\n\nPreferred Technologies:\n\n- Basic command line Linux Skills.\n\n- Object Oriented Programming (Java, Python, Ruby, C#).\n\n- Kubernetes.\n\n- Serverless Technologies (such as AWS Lambda's).\n\n- Single Sign On (PingFederate preferred).\n\n- Public Cloud providers (Azure and/or AWS).\n\n- Deployment technologies: Terraform (preferred), SaltStack (preferred), Chef, Ansible, Puppet.\n\n- Monitoring: PSM/Dynatrace (preferred), Zabbix, Datadog.\n\n- Load Balancing: Azure App Gateway, AWS ELB/ALB, nginx, haproxy.\n\nBasic Qualifications :\n\n- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering / Computer Science.\n\n- 5 -
