The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in dbt, Snowflake, SQL, Python, Airflow, and GitLab CI/CD, along with hands-on experience supporting AI/ML initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt, Snowflake, and Airflow.\nImplement complex business transformation logic using SQL and Python.\nDesign and optimize enterprise data models, data marts, and data warehouse solutions.\nBuild, schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot workflows using Apache Airflow.\nDevelop and automate deployment processes using GitLab CI/CD, including creation and management of jobs and runners.\nEnsure data quality, governance, observability, and performance optimization.\nSupport AI/ML initiatives by building feature-ready datasets and scalable data pipelines.\nCollaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, Architects, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.\nMentor team members and drive best practices in data engineering and software development.\nRequired Skills\n13-14 years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL, Data Warehousing, or related domains.\nStrong hands-on experience with: dbt\nSnowflake\nApache Airflow\nPython\nSQL\n\nAdvanced SQL skills, including complex transformations, query optimization, and performance tuning.\nStrong Python programming experience for data processing, automation, and validation.\nHands-on experience with GitLab, including: Source code management\nCI/CD pipeline creation\nGitLab Jobs\nGitLab Runners\n\nStrong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.\nDeep knowledge of ETL/ELT, Data Warehousing, Dimensional Modeling, and Data Governance.\nExperience working on AI/ML projects, including: Data preparation and feature engineering\nML pipeline integration\nMLOps concepts\nSupporting model deployment and monitoring\n\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.\nExposure to Generative AI, RAG architectures, Vector Databases, or AI-powered analytics solutions.\nExperience leading technical teams and driving architecture decisions.\nEducation\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.\nLife at PTC is about more than working with today’s most cutting-edge technologies to transform the physical world.
