The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications while delivering secure, reliable, and maintainable software in an Agile environment.\nPOSITIONAL ATTRIBUTES\nA self-driven software engineer with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, passionate about building high-quality software. Demonstrates ownership, writes clean and testable code, collaborates effectively across teams, and has a customer-first mindset with a commitment to continuous learning.\nYOUR DAY-TO-DAY\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java applications.\nWrite clean, reusable code and develop unit/integration tests.\nParticipate in application design, code reviews, and technical discussions.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions in an Agile environment.\nContinuously improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability while documenting key technical designs.\nMUST HAVE\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.\n 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Java application development.\nStrong expertise in Core Java, OOP, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.\nExperience writing unit and integration tests using JUnit.\nFamiliarity with Git, REST APIs, and modern software engineering practices.\nStrong analytical, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.\nExperience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).\nLife at PTC is about more than working with today’s most cutting-edge technologies to transform the physical world.
