Interns work closely with experienced engineers and product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to learn modern technologies, development workflows, and quality assurance practices.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssist in writing clean, maintainable code for front-end or back-end components, in case of back-end, front-end or full-stack direction \nHelp build and test features under guidance from senior developers and QA engineers, in case of test automation direction \nLearn and apply basic principles of UI/UX design, usability, and accessibility, in case of front-end direction \nParticipate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives \nCollaborate with developers, designers, and platform engineers to understand project workflows \nContribute to documentation and follow coding and testing standards \nExplore different technologies and tools used in software development and testing \nAsk questions, seek feedback, and grow through mentorship and hands-on practice \nInterns will gain exposure to:\nLanguages & Frameworks: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular or React\nTesting Tools: Cypress, Playwright, JUnit \nVersion Control & CI/CD: Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins \nDesign & UX: Figma, Lit, Material UI, Tailwind, PrimeNG \nCloud & Containers: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS \nRequired Qualifications:\nActive student status at a Hungarian university or college (aktív hallgatói jogviszony).\nAvailability to work at least 20 hours per week during the semester.\nAbility to work from our Budapest office on a regular basis, as in-person attendance is required.\nGood Hungarian and English communication skills.\nBasic programming knowledge in one or more languages (Java) \nFamiliarity with web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, in case of front-end or full-stack direction \nInterest in learning frameworks such as Angular, React, or Spring Boot \nBasic knowledge of testing concepts or tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, JUnit) \nUnderstanding of version control tools like Git \nWillingness to learn and collaborate in a team environment \nPreferred Qualifications:\nFinal-year university students are strongly preferred, particularly those seeking to complete their mandatory internship (kötelező szakmai gyakorlat) as part of their degree program.\nExperience with personal or academic projects in development or testing \nFamiliarity with design tools (e.g., Figma) or basic UI/UX concepts, in case of front-end direction \nInterest in cloud platforms, container tools, or emerging technologies like AI \nBasic knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices through coursework or team projects\nLife at PTC is about more than working with today’s most cutting-edge technologies to transform the physical world.
