Specific projects and responsibilities will vary by team.\nYour Impac t\nContribute to the development of Onshape through hands-on software engineering projects. Depending on your team, your work may focus on user-facing functionality, infrastructure, or performance improvements.\nYour Team\nYou’ll join one of Onshape’s engineering teams and collaborate with developers on projects that support and enhance our cloud-native product development platform.\nYour Day-to-Day:\nDevelop and improve software features and functionality within Onshape.\nCollaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners to design and implement solutions.\nParticipate in code reviews and incorporate feedback.\nTroubleshoot issues and fix bugs in new and existing code.\nBasic Qualifications:\nCurrently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.\nStrong problem-solving and communication skills.\nFamiliarity with programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C++. (Specific language requirements may vary by team.)\nAbility to learn new technologies and work within a large codebase.\nExperience with geometric computation is a plus for certain teams.\nPTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which include a candidate’s background and experience, in determining salary for a position. Compensation will vary based on these factors, but PTC anticipates the hourly range for this position to be between $32-$36.
