To be successful, candidates must already hold a valid EL1 or EL2 security clearance.\nWe know that transitioning into a technical field can seem daunting, which is why we provide full, comprehensive training to enable a successful and smooth career transition. No prior water hygiene experience is necessary - we will teach you everything you need to know!\nYour onboarding journey will include:\nAn intensive, 1-week training programme at our state-of-the-art Centres of Excellence in Manchester.\n\nDirect, hands-on field training, pairing up with an experienced engineer for your first couple of weeks.\n\nRigorous, competency-based skill sign-offs before you are cleared to attend sites independently.\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing Here\nYou will manage a dedicated route of MoJ customer sites that you will visit on a regular basis. You'll build and maintain great relationships with your customers, ensuring their water systems are safe and compliant. You will learn to perform essential tasks, including:\nMonitor water temperature.\n\nTake water samples.\n\nFlush little used outlets.\n\nDescale showerheads.\n\nInspect and clean water storage tanks.\n\nInspect and blowdown calorifiers.\n\nInstall and service Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs).\n\nConduct local disinfections.\n\nYou'll learn routine monitoring tasks in line with HSG274 and ACoP L8 standards, and to use our SimPRO system to manage your workload, spot potential problems, and provide effective solutions.\nWho We're Looking For\nEssentials:\nYou must already hold a valid EL1 or EL2 security clearance enabling you to work within prison sites.\n\nA full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.\n\nConfidence working within secure prison environments, professionalism, strong communication skills when speaking with customers, a desire to work with your hands, and a willingness to travel frequently.\n\nWhat we offer:\nWe believe in supporting our team, which is why we'll equip you with:\nUp to £35,000 + company vehicle with fuel card\n\nOvertime rate 1.5-2x\n\nup to 10% monthly bonus when working specific sites\n\nEarn £500 per successful employee referral\n\nPaid travel time after 30 minutes\n\nLife assurance (3x salary)\n\nOnline GP access + prescriptions\n\nVivup discount platform (gym, tech, holidays, retail & more)\n\nSalary sacrifice pension\n\nYou'll get 24 days of holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to up to 25 days with years of service.
