This role requires a unique blend of technical proficiency and business acumen. You will not only execute data conversion tasks but also engage directly with clients to understand their data structures, business processes, and ensure accurate mapping into the new system.\nKey Responsibilities:\nData Analysis & Conversion\nAssess legacy data sources and design conversion strategies for SaaS implementation\nPerform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using appropriate tools\nValidate data integrity and accuracy post-migration\nSecure handling of client data, e.g. managing Personal Identifiable Information (PII)\nClient Engagement & Leadership\nLead client meetings to gather requirements, clarify business processes, and identify data dependencies\nTranslate business workflows into data mapping for the new platform\nServe as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through conversion best practices\nCollaboration\nWork closely with project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration\nDocument conversion processes and provide training or support as needed\nDocumentation & Methodology\nCreate and implement Data Management strategies, aligned with project and organizational objectives\nRefine, maintain, and update data management methodology documents and supporting artifacts, ensuring they remain current, consistent, and reusable across projects\nContribute to the development of data management training materials and knowledge transfer documentation for internal teams and client stakeholders.\nSupport and execute data governance use cases, including documentation of standards, processes, and controls related to data quality, lineage, and stewardship\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree or 5 years’ related experience required\n5+ years of hands-on experience with data conversion, data migration, and ETL processes, including extracting data from legacy systems, transforming data to meet target model requirements, and loading data into new platforms.\n5+ years of experience designing, building, and executing ETL or data integration workflows, using custom scripts, integration tools, or database-driven approaches.\nAbility to understand both the service delivery system for programs which are administered by states and monitored by federal regulators.\nAbility to understand and be an expert in complex federal regulations and requirements.\nStrong Microsoft Office applications skills, especially data analytics (i.e. ACCESS, SQL, SPSS)\nAbility to use sound judgment in completing tasks and to seek guidance when needed.\nAttention to detail and ability to work with large data sets with accurate results.\nAdditional Preferred Qualifications:\nProficient with ETL, SQL/MySQL, XML, Data Bricks, Microsoft Excel, stored procedures, or other data tooling\nBasic coding experience in languages such as Python and JavaScript\nExperience with relational databases (tables, view, queries, T-SQL and stored procedures)\nExperience working with customers and/or team members and leading data requirements sessions\nParticipation in a minimum of 1 full life cycle software implementation\nUnderstanding of the complete software implementation lifecycle - including data requirements gathering, dataset migration, data reconciliation, and move to production\n3+ years of experience coordinating and collaborating with cross-organizational partners to define requirements and resolve data issues\n3+ years of experience mapping, transforming, and loading data from source to target software systems\nExperience in a Data Conversion work stream on a software implementation \nWorking Conditions\nOffice Setting\nSome travel required\nThis position is hybrid with travel/onsite requirements.
