Our project managers provide hands-on project management and support for multiple projects across the practice area in accordance with the strategic vision set forth by the Project Management Office (PMO). This role requires strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and emotional intelligence skills to de-escalate issues and craft successful outcomes.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nAccountable for managing technology projects, from small to large scale ($100,000 to $3,000,000+).\n\nProficiency in project management best practices that include but not limited to:\nScope Management (change requests)\n\nTime Management (schedules)\n\nCost Management (budget, costs, and pricing)\n\nQuality Management (quality and testing)\n\nCommunications Management (reporting and escalations)\n\nRisk/Issue Management\n\nStakeholder Management\n\nProcurement Management\n\nSystems Development Life Cycle\n\nSupport staff in adopting new processes, tools and methodologies.\n\nAbility to lead and direct team members in a matrixed organization.\n\nProven ability to apply advanced problem-solving techniques (root cause analysis, alternatives, and solutions).\n\nProvide after-hours support and travel, as required.\n\nRequired Skills\nBuild trusting relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.\n\nProficient in managing software development projects through the entire SDLC.\n\nOwnership and accountability of project outcomes, including successes and failures.\n\nPrimary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex information into clear, actionable results.\n\nProactively and effectively communicate and influence outcomes with clients, project teams, and staff.\n\nAdjust communication styles to manage different personalities and expectations, upward and downward.\n\nIdentify and address team or stakeholder conflicts early to prevent escalation.\n\nMediate disagreements and drive consensus-oriented outcomes.\n\nInspire and motivate team members while maintaining accountability for deliverables.\n\nBuild and maintain schedules using MS Project.\n\nProficient in all aspects of working remotely with teams and clients.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree.\n\n8+ years of experience in formal project management, managing software development of complex, multi-year projects.\n\nKnowledge of technology solutions and extensive experience within the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).\n\nProject Management Certification (PMP).\n\nKnowledge of K-12 education technology solutions (nice to have).\n\nEducation consulting experience (nice to have).\n\nThis position is remote with travel/onsite requirements.
