This role involves managing cross-functional teams, liaising with clients and vendors, and overseeing all phases of modernization-from scope definition to final inspection.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProject Planning & Execution \nDevelop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for elevator modernization projects. \nCoordinate with engineering, field technicians, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution. \nMonitor progress and adjust schedules or resources as needed to meet deadlines. \nCoordinate all contract activities from RFP through project completion ensuring that contract documents are consistent with required scope of project. \nClient & Stakeholder Communication \nServe as the primary point of contact for clients, building owners, and internal stakeholders. \nProvide regular updates, manage expectations, and resolve issues proactively. \nCompliance & Quality Assurance \nEnsure all modernization work complies with local, state, and federal codes (e.g., ASME A17.1). \nConduct site visits and inspections to verify quality and safety standards are met. \nResource & Budget Management \nManage procurement of modernization components (controllers, door equipment, hoist machines, etc.). \nTrack expenses and ensure projects stay within budget. \nAccurately interpret contractual documents and contract modifications to determine cost of such change. \nDocumentation & Reporting \nMaintain accurate records of project milestones, inspections, and change orders. \nPrepare post-project evaluations and lessons learned reports. \n 5+ years of experience in project and portfolio management. \nExperience and knowledge within the trade required, ideally 3+ years.\nPMP or equivalent project management certification preferred. \nExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. \nFamiliarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration. \nAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously. \nProficient in blueprint, shop drawing, and specification reading is a plus. \nFamiliarity with ASME A17.1 and other applicable building codes is a plus. \n Workplace\nOne of our values pillars is to work as OneTeam and we believe that there is no replacement for in-person collaboration but understand the value of some flexibility.
