As culture becomes dictated by social, and TikTok becomes the leading entertainment platform, we’re looking for people who can help put our clients in the spotlight, by strategically positioning them at the heart of social conversation, helping grow interactions, and drive community.\nAs a Senior Content Writer, it’s your responsibility to author original creative concepts that gain our client’s an outsized share of social attention. Through our editorial content planning process, you’ll collaborate with social strategists, community engagement leads, other creatives, and social producers.\nYour work will span a mix of proactive & reactive content opportunities - driven by real-time culture. You’ll also have an eye for identifying when a post, trend, or brand moment can become an even bigger opportunity, and you’ll work with our creative directors to help bring brand acts and stunts to life, when possible.\nAs a steward of our client’s brands, you’ll also ensure the integrity of those brands, their tone of voice, and their social objectives are embedded into every brief and opportunity. You’ll be exposed to growth opportunities across digital strategy, community engagement, and fully integrated creative opportunities.\nResponsibilities\nBe a creator at heart\nLead concepting for social posts & opportunities, with support from social strategists, contentcreators, and creative directors.\nPartner with Social Content Creators & Social Producers to help execute approved concepts,where required.\nCraft unique, entertainment-driven content that looks, feels, and sounds organically like thebrand, and accompanying post copy.\nProactively look for opportunities for brands to participate in conversations (through commentsor video responses).\nIdentify larger creative opportunities (beyond just social posts) and work with Creative Directors to bring them to life.\nStrategically weigh-in on trends and provide a POV on brand-relevancy and safety.\nIntake learnings from content reporting to inform a better creative\nCommunicate effectively with clients, internal teams and partners\nComplete ad-hoc tasks and other duties, as assigned\nTake feedback in stride - we win together & lose together!\nWork occasional evenings, weekends, and/or holidays in support of client needs\nQualifications\n3-5 years in a creative role (or equivalent)\nCreative portfolio of content you’ve created on behalf of brands\nStrong writing background with an ability to communicate thoughts clearly and simply\nDeep knowledge of social platforms and how to navigate them. You don’t just follow bestpractices, you put them to the test\nComfort presenting ideas to senior agency and client stakeholders, with an ability to think onthe fly and pivot ideas in real-time.\nExperience working with key digital platforms, including Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest,Snapchat, Twitter, etc.\nYou are an ideal candidate if you:\nAre curious by nature: you’re interested how things work and why they work that way\nHave the spiciest take in the room (we want people who think differently than we do)\nAre creatively driven and think of data as a vehicle to unlocking new opportunities\nHave strong written and presentation skills\nSet high quality standards of work for yourself and aim to get every detail right\nRelentlessly want to improve and grow\nHave a bias for action\nCandidate Education:\nCreative industries or other related degrees to be considered\nAdditional Information\nSalary\nTransparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is CAD $75K - 85K per\nyear. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including\nrelevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications.
