In this role you will gather and validate campaign data, keep dashboards current and start learning how to turn raw delivery data into insight that clients and teams can act on.\nResponsibilities\nWhat You Will Do\nGather campaign performance data from agreed platforms and sources \nUpdate dashboards and reporting templates accurately and on time \nCheck data for consistency across platforms and flag anything that looks wrong \nSupport weekly and monthly reporting and post-campaign data packs \nHelp automate repetitive reporting tasks using spreadsheets and data tools \nKeep organised records of data sources, definitions and report versions \nYour 12-Month Learning Journey\nMonth 1 - Foundations: Connected Media bootcamp, platform certifications and pod induction \nMonths 2-4 - Rotation: short rotations across Strategy, Operations and Performance (about a week per discipline with a specialist) \nMonths 5-10 - Seat: live placement in the home team with a named mentor and defined account responsibilities \nMonths 10-12 - Absorption gate: assessment against the Connected Media JD and offer into a commercially approved role, where available \nWho We Are Looking For\nAn analytical graduate who is genuinely interested in media and marketing data - not purely a software or web development profile.\nQualifications\nCompleted relevant tertiary qualification (3-year degree or 3-year diploma) in the field listed below \nBasic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Excel in particular) \nGood written and verbal communication skills \nAvailable for a 12-month, Johannesburg-based internship from March 2027 \nA positive attitude, curiosity and a commitment to learning \nPreferred field of study: Data science, statistics, information systems, business analytics, marketing or a related field \nNice to have\nExposure to Power BI, Looker Studio or similar dashboarding tools \nBasic SQL, Python or scripting knowledge\nAdditional Information\nWhat We Offer\nA 12-month, structured internship with hands-on exposure to real client work \nA named mentor and buddy, plus rotations across the Connected Media model \nPlatform certifications and learning through our internal academies \nA clear absorption gate into a commercially approved role, where available \nPublicis Groupe Africa is an equal opportunity employer.
