We also have specialist offerings, including content, commerce, multicultural and future-proofed data capabilities.\nOverview\nWhat does a successful Manager look like?\nThe Manager, Data Science is responsible for transforming complex media and audience data into actionable insights through a combination of data wrangling, exploratory analysis, and workflow automation. This role partners closely with Analytics, Strategy, Activation, and Data Science teams to solve business problems, develop scalable analytical solutions, and improve the efficiency of recurring processes. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills in SQL and Python with deep familiarity with digital media datasets and taxonomies.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop complex SQL and Python-based solutions to prepare, transform, and analyze large media and audience datasets.\nPerform ad hoc analyses to answer business, client, and campaign performance questions.\nBuild and maintain reusable datasets that support reporting, analytics, and strategic decision-making.\nDesign and automate recurring analytical processes and workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.\nWork extensively with media taxonomies and reporting dimensions including channel, publisher, DSP, creative size, placement, audience, and daypart.\nIdentify data quality issues and implement processes to improve consistency and reliability across datasets.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to translate ambiguous business questions into analytical approaches and recommendations.\nPresent findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nDocument analytical methodologies, data definitions, and workflow processes to support long-term team scalability.\nQualifications\n3+ years of experience in Analytics, Data Engineering, Marketing Analytics, Media Analytics, or a related field.\nAdvanced proficiency in SQL and Python.\nStrong experience manipulating, transforming, and analyzing large datasets.\nExperience building automated workflows, reusable analytical tools, and scalable data processes.\nRequired experience working with digital media data and media taxonomies.\nExperience with PySpark and cloud-based data environments (Databricks, Snowflake, etc) preferred.\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills.\nAdditional Information\nOur Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
