You should have a desire to transform companies by creating beautiful, intuitive, and human-centred products and experiences.\nYou will be tuned into all aspects of South African popular culture and the platforms and media it plays in, as well as have a strong point of view on what it takes to win in this space.\nResponsibilities\nDuties include, but not limited to:\nWhat you’ll do everyday\nDesign social media and digitally led creative, utilizing animation and digital design best practices with a good technical understanding for outputting files in the correct format, size (data and dimensions) with visual accuracy.\nBe able to work methodically and according to brief and brand specification.\nBe able break down brief requirements and timeously flag any potential issues that may arise.\nCreate presentation decks to showcase work.\nBe able to collect and file artwork work correctly for archiving and handovers.\nBe able to accurately capture time against completed briefs.\nDefine or apply the aesthetic of overall campaigns \nManage multiple projects simultaneously \nDesign across multiple channels \nConsistently produce creative elements against a deliverables list \nParticipate in brainstorms & conceptualisation \nLead the craft & design of your idea \nQualifications\nCurrently completing or recently completed a Diploma, Degree or Higher Certificate in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Digital Design, Visual Communication, Animation, Motion Design or a related creative field.\nFoundational working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly:\nAdobe Photoshop\nAdobe Illustrator\nAdobe After Effects\nAdobe Premiere Pro\nBasic understanding of graphic design, animation, motion graphics, video editing and digital/social media content.\nA portfolio or student body of work demonstrating creative thinking and design ability. This can include academic, personal or freelance projects.\nAn understanding of design principles, typography, composition, colour and visual storytelling.\nAn interest in social media, digital trends, emerging technologies and South African popular culture.\nExposure to 3D animation or production would be advantageous but is not essential.\nNo previous agency experience required.\nIDEAL CANDIDATE\nCreative, curious and eager to learn, with a genuine passion for multimedia, motion and digital design.
