You will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect, develop, and optimize microservices-based applications that drive business value and innovation.\nYour Impact\nDesign and implement Java-based microservices architectures that are scalable, resilient, and high-performing.\nCollaborate with engineering teams to ensure best practices in microservices development, including API design, security, and observability.\nOptimize system performance and ensure seamless integration with cloud-native technologies.\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.\nWork closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.\nStay up-to-date with emerging trends in Java, microservices, and cloud computing to drive continuous improvement.\nSkills & Experience\n8+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on microservices architecture.\nProven expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and other Java-based frameworks for building microservices.\nExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.\nStrong understanding of RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).\nHands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps best practices.\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.\nSet Yourself Apart With\nCertifications in Java, Spring, or cloud platforms (AWS Certified Developer, Azure Developer Associate, etc.).\nExperience with serverless computing and event-driven microservices.\nKnowledge of distributed tracing, logging, and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger).\nStrong understanding of security best practices for microservices and cloud-native applications.\nProficiency in using AI pair-programmers and engineering assistants (specifically GitHub Copilot and/or Claude Code) to optimize workflow efficiency and accelerate problem-solving \nAdditional Information\nPay Range: $160,000 - $195,000\nThe range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient.
