And to do it saving you time and money, while still getting you to the best quality product.\nOverview\nThe Editor’s primary responsibility is to work with The Pub’s clients to provide full editorial services on traditional and digital advertising. The Editor is responsible for overseeing all job related operations of the edit suite(s), oversee the workflow for their jobs, and mentor/supervise the Assistant Editor(s). The Editor works closely with the Executive Producers to review and update ongoing processes and operations within The Pub while also running editorial sessions and serving the needs of the clients. This is an Intermediate level role.\nResponsibilities\nIn this client facing role, foster strong relationships with existing and new clients, ensure clients are receiving the best possible service on all jobs while working The Pub. \nOversee the day-to-day operations of the editorial suite(s). \nProvide feedback and mentorship to Assistant Editor(s) on an ongoing basis. \nReceive and review incoming boards and project opportunities together with the Producers and determine the best course of action for each project. \nLead client attended editorial sessions (in-person & remote). \nUpdate and cut new reels. \nAttend internal meetings as required. \nCommunicate with Assistant Editor, Producer(s), and Client Service on all session matters to ensure technical and client service standards are being upheld. \nProvide set supervision and other project related support when required. \nProvide coverage and support for colleagues during busy times as well as during their vacation and time off. \nProvide ongoing feedback on key issues within The Pub. \nOur ideal candidate should:\nDemonstrate the ability to take direction and thrive in a team environment \nSet high quality standards for themselves in everything they do \nWelcome constructive feedback and believe in continuous learning \nBe able to maintain constant and efficient communication between multidisciplinary teams \nQualifications\n3-5 years video editing experience, preferably in the advertising space \nProficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, as well at other programs in the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, After Effects). \nAble to communicate creative and technical thoughts and ideas \nAble to multitask and prioritize effectively \nDemonstrated artistic ability \nAble to meet deadlines and follow directions \nAble to thrive in a high pressure, detail-oriented environment \nAdditional Information\nPublicis Canada is committed to building a diverse workforce representative of our community. The salary range for this position isCAD $70,000 to $80,000 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications.
