This role is focused on building high-performance, low-latency, scalable, and privacy-safe systems that help maximize publisher revenue from in-app inventory while improving DSP and buyer spend efficiency.\n\nTotal Experience : 5-12 years\n\nWhat You'll Do : \n\n- Architect and implement scalable backend services powering mobile app monetization, extracting, transforming, and optimizing in-app behavioral data using on-device computation, data aggregation, and differential privacy techniques.\n\n- Build and optimize SSP-DSP integration workflows for mobile app inventory, including app bundle validation, device and geo signal handling, and privacy-aware user signal processing.\n\n- Design mobile-specific traffic shaping and QPS optimization systems that prioritize high-value in-app inventory.\n\n- Improve runtime handling for Mobile App ad formats such as rewarded video, interstitial, native, banner, app-open, playable, and in-app video.\n\n- Build capabilities that improve buyer/DSP compatibility for MApp inventory, ensuring buyers receive well-represented, privacy-compliant, format-compatible, and supply-quality-aware mobile app requests.\n\n- Develop systems and diagnostics to improve Mobile App supply quality, including app bundle validation, app-ads.txt, sellers.json, and SupplyChain object validation.\n\n- Support privacy-aware and attribution-ready Mobile App advertising, including ATT/IDFA handling, AAID availability, consent enforcement, COPPA/child-directed treatment, and SKAN readiness.\n\n- Partner with MApp SDK and OpenBid/S2S integration teams to define signal-quality standards and request-field expectations.\n\n- Build publisher-facing and buyer-facing diagnostics for MApp inventory, including missing-field reports, app quality signals, and buyer no-bid diagnostics.\n\n- Work with DSP Partnerships and Marketplace Quality teams to improve buyer confidence in PubMatic's MApp supply.\n\n- Collaborate with Product, Data Science, Publisher teams, DSP Partnerships, Marketplace Quality, MApp SDK, OpenBid/S2S integrations, and SRE to define and execute the roadmap.\n\n- Champion operational excellence for Mobile App advertising systems through strong observability, reason codes, structured logs, dashboards, alerts, and production debugging.\n\nWe'd Love for You to Have : \n\n- Five plus years of backend engineering experience, with a proven track record of building high-scale, low-latency systems in AdTech domains.\n\n- Strong knowledge of mobile app inventory signals, ad formats, and performance advertising concepts.\n\n- Experience with mobile attribution and measurement ecosystems (MMPs, SKAdNetwork, etc.).\n\n- Strong knowledge of mobile privacy and compliance constraints (ATT, IDFA, Android Advertising ID, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA).\n\n- Practical knowledge of mobile supply quality and fraud prevention.\n\n- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.\n\nAI-Enabled Engineering Mindset : \n\nWe value engineers who actively leverage Generative AI tools and IDEs (e.g. GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Windsurf etc.) to accelerate development, improve code quality, and automate repetitive tasks.\n\nQualifications : Bachelor's degree in engineering (CS / IT) or equivalent degree from well-known Institutes / Universities.\n\nSkills\nDSP, Workflows, QPS, Mobile App Architecture, Mobile App Integration, Mobile Ecosystem","description_format":"text","description_chars":3562,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Advertising","Digital Marketing"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-25T18:04:06Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"GB","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"Licensed UK visa sponsor (Senior or Specialist Worker, Skilled Worker)","filings_12m":null,"filings_prev_12m":null,"green_card_filings_12m":null,"median_offered_wage_usd":null,"route":"Global Business Mobility: Senior or Specialist Worker;
