Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build and enhance REST APIs and microservices for a high-scale product platform.
  • Work on distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and backend performance optimisation.
  • Design and optimise database solutions using SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.
  • Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, debugging, and production issue resolution.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
  • Strong proficiency in Core Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with REST APIs, microservices, SQL databases, and distributed systems.
  • Good understanding of OOPs, data structures and algorithms, design patterns, and system design.
  • Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems is a plus.
  • Exposure to AWS/cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, or CI/CD is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, ownership, and communication skills.
  • Tech Stack: Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, SQL, Kafka, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
