Senior Product Manager, Analytics and Agentic Platform

About the Role

PubMatic is building the next generation of AI-powered products for digital advertising, including intelligent agents that help customers monitor marketplace performance, identify new opportunities, troubleshoot issues, make recommendations, and take action. We are also evolving our data visualization, reporting, and analytics platform that publishers and partners rely on to understand their performance.

We are looking for a highly technical, customer-oriented Product Manager to lead our Agentic Platform and AI strategy while driving the roadmap for our analytics and reporting platform. This role owns the foundational capabilities that enable teams across PubMatic to build, evaluate, deploy, and operate production-grade AI agents, and leads strategic customer-facing AI and analytics experiences that turn complex marketplace data into actionable intelligence.

You will work at the intersection of Generative AI, agentic systems, advertising technology, data, and product experience. You will partner closely with engineering (onshore and offshore), design, and commercial teams, and with DSPs, ad networks, agency trading desks, exchanges, publishers, and audience/data providers, to turn emerging AI capabilities into scalable products that deliver measurable customer and business outcomes.

What You'll Do

           AI and Agentic Platform

• Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for PubMatic's shared AI and Agentic Platform, enabling teams company-wide to build and operate production-grade AI agents.
• Own platform capabilities including agent orchestration, model and tool integration, context and knowledge management, evaluation frameworks, observability, governance, and reusable agent infrastructure.
• Lead the strategy and development of publisher- and marketplace-facing AI experiences that transform complex marketplace data into actionable intelligence.
• Build rigorous evaluation methodologies combining offline evaluation, golden datasets, LLM-based evaluation, human review, experimentation, and production telemetry.
• Define success metrics across AI quality, customer adoption, task completion, business impact, latency, reliability, and cost.

  Data Visualization, Reporting & Analytics

• Define, develop, and execute the vision, roadmap, and requirements for PubMatic's data visualization, reporting, and analytics platform.
• Develop clear, compelling PRDs and user stories for new initiatives and enhancements, including business justification, revenue potential, and operational impact.
• Monitor product adoption, proactively identify opportunities, and make actionable recommendations to drive uptake and effectiveness.

  Common Responsibilities

• Validate product direction through customer and internal stakeholder interaction and by analyzing market and product trends.
• Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog.
• Work closely with UX and engineering teams to guide development and testing.
• Partner with Sales, Services, and Product Marketing on training, collateral, and product rollout, and evangelize PubMatic offerings internally and to prospects and the installed base.
• Own the full product lifecycle, from opportunity identification and strategy through requirements, experimentation, launch, adoption, measurement, and iteration.

We'd Love for You to Have

          Required Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of Product Management experience, including 1-2 years of hands-on experience leading technically complex agentic platforms and building AI agents in production, and experience in data visualization, analytics, or business intelligence.
• Strong understanding of modern AI application architecture, including LLMs and reasoning models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation and knowledge systems, agent orchestration and tool use, AI evaluation and experimentation, prompt and context engineering, and observability and production monitoring.
• Demonstrated ability to identify business problems and strategic, revenue-generating opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to partner deeply with engineering and AI teams, making thoughtful product and technical tradeoffs.
• Experience taking ambiguous, zero-to-one products from concept through production and measurable adoption.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to define metrics and evaluation frameworks for probabilistic AI systems.
• Firm sense of accountability and ownership for the end-to-end product lifecycle.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical teams, customers, and senior leadership.

          Preferred Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in the online advertising industry, including ad tech, programmatic advertising, and marketplaces.
• Experience building enterprise AI products where reliability, governance, privacy, security, and explainability are critical.
• Familiarity with agent interoperability standards and architectures, such as MCP, agent-to-agent communication, structured tool calling, and multi-agent systems.
