Acts as liaison between all parties to the transaction including homebuyer, seller, mortgage, accounting and other areas within the Title & Escrow Process.\nPrimary Job Responsibilities\nHandle all aspects of the settlement transactions including preparation and approval of Settlement Statements, preparation and coordination of deeds, verify accuracy of loan documents, insurance documentation, seller statements, and contract or sales agreement.\n\nObtain signatures for closing transactions, explain all documents executed as needed, and facilitate questions/answers between parties to the transaction.\n\nFollow Escrow Accounting Business Practice Guidelines which includes but is not limited to collection and disbursement of funds while complying with required State and Federal Good Funds statutes.\n\nReview escrow quality assurance reports and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure compliance with required business policy.\n\nEnsure timely and accurate flow of information and documentation from settlement team to Recording and Accounting Departments\n\nCorrect and resolve any post-closing issues that arise.\n\nEnsure adherence to workflow processes.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nScope\nDecision Impact: Individual\n\nDepartment Responsibility: None\n\nBudgetary Responsibility: No\n\nDirect Reports: No\n\nIndirect Reports: No\n\nPhysical Requirements: Ability to exert minimal force of 25 pounds to carry, lift, push, pull and otherwise move objects. On occasions, may have to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.\n\nRequired Education/Experience \nMinimum High School Diploma or equivalent\n\nMinimum of 1-3 years Escrow Officer/Assistant Escrow Officer experience\n\nRequired Licensing, Registration and/or Certifications\nLicensing requirements as required by State/Federal Agencies\n\nNotary Public license requirements as required by State\n\nRequired Skills/Knowledge\nCustomer service skills with experience engaging with diverse homebuyer demographics.\n\nAbility to multi-task and handle fast paced and demanding work environment\n\nEffective follow up skills and attention to detail\n\nAbility to adjust well to change\n\nAbility to collaborate effectively across dispersed teams in multiple locations.\n\nEffective communication skills, both verbal and written\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.\n\nExperience with OneNote and SoftPro is a plus\n\nDemonstrates effective collaboration skills to promote teamwork and communication among various departments and stakeholders.\n\nDemonstrates proactive initiative and self-motivation to drive tasks and projects forward independently.\n\nExhibits exceptional time management and prioritization skills to efficiently meet deadlines and optimize task workflows.\n\nAdditional Information\nThis position is office-based, requiring in-office attendance five days a week to foster team collaboration and ensure direct customer engagement\nPulteGroup, Inc. and its affiliates do not accept unsolicited resumes from individual recruiters or third party recruiting agencies (collectively, “Recruiters”) in response to job postings.
