As a Project Manager in the SPMO, you will manage strategic business programs and projects by bringing clarity to a business challenge, building consensus on how to meet that challenge, and driving the delivery of a solution. This includes hands-on research, analysis, planning, and design activities to support a wide array of projects in a collaborative, dynamic environment.\nThis position interacts with stakeholder from all levels and functional areas in the organization, including business executives, management, end users, Agile technology delivery teams, and support organizations. The candidate should work well with minimal supervision and be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.\nJob Responsibilities\nLead discovery efforts, including case for change, vision, solution alternatives, scope & approach, and cost/benefit of projects.\n\nDevelop business cases, measure benefits, and drive benefits realization. Perform key data analysis functions or leverage data analysis resources.\n\nPartner with business stakeholders to understand their needs, align on solutions, and manage issues and risks.\n\nDefine project plans and deliverables to most efficiently and effectively meet project objectives and stakeholder needs.\n\nLead project teams through solution design deliverables including business process design, requirements, vendor selection, organization design, or business capability design. Also responsible for completing select deliverables.\n\nPerform change management, communication planning, and implementation planning activities.\n\nCollaborate with technology partners and 3rd parties as needed, to translate business needs into system requirements.\n\nManage activities for strategic projects across multiple departments and suppliers.\n\nReport progress to project sponsor and other executives.\n\nScope\nDecision Impact: Corporate\n\nDepartment Responsibility: Single\n\nBudgetary Responsibility: No\n\nDirect Reports: No\n\nIndirect Reports: No\n\nPhysical Requirements: Involves sitting, standing, and/or movement.\n\nRequired Education\nBachelor’s degree preferred\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\n\nRequired Licensing, Registration, and/or Certifications\nPMP certification or equivalent understanding of project management principles and theories\n\nLean Six Sigma certifications preferred but not required\n\nRequired Experience/Skills/Knowledge\n5+ years of experience in a project environment especially in the areas of strategy development, envisioning, process design, business performance measurement, information technology or management consulting.\n\n3+ years of experience managing projects with full responsibility for all project management aspects including planning, business case development, communication and stakeholder management, resource management, requirements, design, change management, and implementation.\n\n3+ years of experience in residential mortgage lending.\n\nDeep written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to structure messaging for a wide range of stakeholders. High proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.\n\nData analysis skills including high proficiency with Microsoft Excel.\n\nExperience working in an Agile development environment is preferred.\n\nDemonstrated ability to learn new things quickly, develop subject matter expertise, and adapt to a variety of project scenarios.\n\nSalary Range: $105,000 to $130,000 annually depending upon experience.\nThis position is also eligible for an annual bonus based on the successful completion of defined performance objectives.\nIn addition to up to 9 paid company holidays per year, employees are eligible for up to 6 days of sick pay. Moreover, eligible employees with less than 10 years of service can accrue up to 17 PTO days per year (and up to 22 PTO days per year upon 10 or more years of service). Employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Plan. Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage. Employees are covered by company-paid disability, basic life insurance and parental leave.
