You’ll own the end-to-end experience of Pump’s platform, from onboarding and savings dashboards to AI cost tracking, and turn complex billing and infrastructure data into something clean, simple, and easy to act on.\nThis is a hybrid design and build role. You’ll work directly with our founders and engineers with little process in between. You’ll go from user research to Figma to shipped code, using AI coding tools like Claude and Cursor to prototype and build alongside the engineering team. We’re looking for someone with a high craft bar, a taste for clean and minimal design, and the drive to move fast in a startup that’s scaling quickly.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable and high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs.\nImplement and test new product features, ensuring they are intuitive, reliable, and performant.\nLean towards a clean, minimal, and modern user experience and design.\nConduct thorough product analysis, including user research, feedback analysis, and data-driven insights to inform product improvements.\nCollaborate with UX/UI to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.\nWork closely with backend and frontend engineers to integrate product features seamlessly.\nParticipate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain code quality standards.\nQualifications:\n5+ years of experience as a product designer, building scalable and reliable web applications, preferably in a pre-Series B startup.\nBS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Graphic Design, or related field\nProficiency in industry-standard design & Gen AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, Figma, Lottie and other relevant software for graphic design, prototyping, and collaboration.\nStrong proficiency in graphic design is preferred\nFamiliarity with agile development methodologies and practices.\nSolid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\nStrong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in cross-functional teams.\nPassion for creating exceptional user experiences and driving product innovation.\nKnowledge of data analysis and visualization tools is a plus.\nAbility to
