All our projects are developed in close collaboration with local actors, including cooperatives, NGOs, governments, and corporations. Today, we employ 200 staff across 16 countries with key offices in Paris (HQ) and Toronto.\nPUR operates within the dynamic and rapidly evolving sector of environmental consultancy services and nature-based solutions markets. These markets are closely linked with the voluntary carbon markets (VCM) when NbS projects produce carbon credits that can be traded on the VCM. The NbS market has recently gained traction as society recognizes the invaluable services provided by nature and the need to preserve, restore, and harness these services to mitigate and adapt to environmental challenges. To be considered a nature-based solution, projects must effectively address real societal challenges and offer strong environmental, economic, and social benefits for local communities.\nAbout the role\nYou will be part of the Commercial team and support the structuring of investments in nature-based solutions (across carbon, agroforestry, regenerative agriculture, mangrove projects etc). You will work closely with the Finance, Technical, and Operations teams to translate field-level opportunities into robust, bankable investment cases. This role combines financial modelling, investment analysis, and investor engagement with the preparation of clear, investor-ready materials to bring projects from concept to financing.\nThe position offers exposure to multiple geographies and project types with a focus on large-scale nature-based solution (NbS) projects. These projects typically involve long-term corporate offtake agreements and partnerships with institutional investors and may also integrate public or blended finance where relevant to enhance scalability and impact.\nYour responsibilities will be, but not limited to:\nSupport the origination, analysis, and structuring of NbS investment opportunities across multiple regions.\n\nBuild and maintain financial models, track investment performance, and monitor project-level valuation over time.\n\nReassess project assumptions, risks, and performance regularly, ensuring alignment with investment strategy and field realities.\n\nPrepare and deliver investment materials (pitch decks, investment notes, portfolio updates) for internal meetings and external investors.\n\nContribute to investor engagement, including identifying and approaching relevant investors (conferences, networks, direct outreach).\n\nPresent investment opportunities to investors, both independently and alongside relevant team members.\n\nSupport the due diligence process, coordinating with teams when projects move forward.\n\nAccompany the commercial team through the full investment process, up tonegotiation and closing.\n\nWork closely with Business Developers to align investor needs with project pipeline and structure tailored financing solutions.\n\nContribute to the structure and implementation of new investment vehicles and funds.\n\nPrepare regular portfolio reporting and investor updates.\n\nRequirements\nWe are looking for someone with:\n3 to 5 years of experience in investment, finance, or project structuring (investment banking, private equity, impact investing, or similar).\n\nStrong financial modelling and analytical skills, with experience in real assets, project finance, or fund monitoring.\n\nAbility to understand and articulate both financial and impact dimensions of investments (carbon, biodiversity, social impact...).\n\nComfortable contributing to presenting and pitching investment opportunities to investors.\n\nAbility to work across multiple geographies and stakeholders, including project developers and technical experts.\n\nStructured, rigorous, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.\n\nFluency in English is mandatory. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
