We’ve been recognized as the Fastest Growing Company in Utah, and we are passionate about making scent a core part of life’s most memorable moments.\nYour Role at Pura:\nWe are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quality Engineer to support and enhance our quality assurance processes in a high-volume manufacturing environment, particularly within the hardware industry. This role will be responsible for ensuring product integrity, optimizing quality control processes, and leading root cause analysis initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory compliance, continuous improvement methodologies, supplier quality management, and will consistently and proactively implement continuous improvement initiatives.\nYou will help us inspire a belief in the power of fragrance to craft and elevate memorable momentsfor our Owners. This is your chance to make an impact in a high-growth company that’s redefining the way people experience scent.\nWhat You’ll Own:\nDevelop, implement, and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.\nLead the end-to-end PPAP submission process, ensuring all documentation meets both internal quality standards and customer-specific requirements for new product launches and engineering changes.\nEstablish and track quality metrics to monitor and improve manufacturing performance.\nLead robust root cause analysis initiatives and execute comprehensive corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to resolve product and process-related issues.\nDrive quality engineering initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce defects, and support continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.\nPerform SPC and analyze production and testing data to identify and address quality gaps.\nOversee supplier quality management, including audits, corrective actions, and process improvements.\nCollaborate with R&D and production teams to optimize product requirements, ensure stability, and maintain adherence to GD&T principles\nDirect and optimize IQC, IPQC, and OQC quality control frameworks for raw components, finished goods, and packaging to maintain strict adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards.\nImprove lot tracking and traceability systems.\nFacilitate and provide technical support for internal and external audits, including partner and regulatory inspections, to ensure ongoing compliance.\nPerform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business needs and operational objectives. \nQualifications:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.\nMinimum of 5+ years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment with proficiency in PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, and SPC.\nASQ, CQA, or CQE certifications\nWorking knowledge of ASME Y14.5 (GD&T)\nExperience in factory setup, process validation, and quality systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar).\nProficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and PFMEA.\nHands-on experience with manufacturing automation, robotics, and smart factory technologies is a plus.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.\nExcellent project management and leadership abilities.\nProven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional peers and external partners within a global organizational framework.\nAbility to travel domestically and internationally 25% of the time.\nPura’s Culture\nOur culture is built on a foundation of innovation, collaboration, inclusivity, and being good humans.
