Additionally, this role contributes to the organization by identifying and carrying out improvement projects within the Business Intelligence environment to boost the overall performance of the Puratos Group.\nWhat you will do\nThe SAP BI Specialist will be responsible for delivering solutions within different business domains with the focus on reporting and analytics, implementing projects in the BI area related to an evolving regulatory environment, business development and simplification initiatives.\nWithin their scope of responsibilities, the SAP BI Specialist will ensure that the BI Manager, and when appropriate, the Group ICT Director, are kept informed of relevant activities.\nMain responsibilities:\n1.Design and implementation of the approved reporting requirements:\nPartner together with the functional teams, the Business Process Managers and the Domain leads to gather requirements and prepare new BI projects.\nPropose architecture and technical design that address identified business needs.\nDesign, develop and implement data models, ETL flows and dashboards.\nEnsure all implementation activities adhere to best practices, internal policies and compliance requirements.\nIdentify and facilitate organizational changes as appropriate and needed.\nMaintain comprehensive and up-to-date technical documentation.\nPropose and develop solutions to address gaps in current systems or processes.\nTransfer necessary knowledge to key users, promoting correct application usage and self-service of BI applications.\nDesign and implement authorization models to ensure data security for sensitive and critical data and processes.\n\n2. Proactively identify and investigate potential improvements or innovations within the BI & Analytics area.\n3. Develop, implement and maintain standards and procedures for BI applications to ensure consistency and quality.\nWhat we expect from you\nAt least 5 years of data engineering experience.\nTechnical knowledge:Strong hands-on experience with SAP BW/4HANA data modeling, including ADSO, InfoObjects, CompositeProviders, Open ODS Views and LSA++ architecture\nSolid understanding of SAP HANA push-down concepts, performant modeling and optimization techniques in BW/4HANA.\nExperience with data extraction and integration using ODP-based extractors (SAP S/4HANA, ECC) and external sources.\nKnowledge of ABAP for BW, including CDS Views, AMDP and debugging BW transformations/process chains.\nExperience with BW querying and reporting, including BEx Queries and integration with front-end tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud or Power BI.\n\nBeing able to solve problems and develop solutions using the knowledge and understanding of business processes.\nBeing able to communicate and translate IT concepts into business language.\nCustomer minded, with demonstrated initiative and flexibility to optimize contact with the different business units and entities.\nFluent in English (Spoken & Written) - any other language is an asset\nWhat you can expect from Puratos\nYou join a rapidly growing international leader with a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, offering you the freedom to make an impact.
