This role supports the reduction of production downtime through effective troubleshooting, implementation of preventive maintenance programs, and reliable operation of plant systems.\nWhat you will do\nSupport development and maintenance of preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime\nTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment\nCoordinate external contractors for repairs when required\nEnter maintenance data into PMXPERT (work orders, traceability)\nOperate and repair processing, filling, packaging, and water treatment equipment\nCollaboration & Plant Support\nMaintain accurate maintenance records\nPromote and enforce Safe wok practices\nAssist in Heath and safety program implementation\nMonitor and prevent unsafe practices\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives\nRecommend process improvements and efficiency gains\nIdentify and implement cost-saving ideas\nWhat we expect from you\nPrior Experience in maintenance and or technician role\nMinimum class 5 power engineering\nPhysically capable of maintenance work\nStrong organizational and decision-making skills\nStrong communication skills\nTechnical knowledge of PMXPERT, PLC, and equipment\nProblem-solving and troubleshooting ability\nTeam-oriented mindset\nStrong organization and time management\nSafety-focused approach\nWhat you can expect from Puratos\nStarting Hourly rate of $40.12 and increases as per CBA\nVacation starts at 4%\nCompany Matching RRSP\nExtended health benefits\nDental Coverage\nLife and AD&D coverage\nGrowth opportunities, personal development support\nWe are a warm family company with a historical growth track record and a clear long-term vision for the future.
